It’s Pansytime

The pansies are starting to bloom!  We planted flats of pansies in our greenhouse and they’ve been flower-less up until now.  How exciting to see all the flowers starting to pop up!  In another week (or two) they will be ready for you to plant outside.

Pansies are more cold tolerant than most other bedding plants and can withstand cool night temperatures as long as it’s above freezing.  That makes pansies the ideal first blooming plant to put outside each spring.  Is there anything more exciting than outdoor plants in bloom after that never-ending winter?
